The Mission
The Mission
The mission of Sallux is to love and honor Christ while overseeing and supporting Christian
homeschool communities and encouraging homeschool families with a vision to be the salt of
the earth and light of the world in accordance with Matthew 5:13-14. “Sal” is Latin for salt, and “Lux”' is Latin for light.
Currently, Sallux oversees one homeschool community in Athens, Ohio. The community is a Classical Conversations community that meets on Fridays at a church near Athens.

Sallux is serving multiple homeschooling families in the Classical Conversations community and is always looking to expand. Families often travel from areas adjacent to Athens to attend including mid-Ohio valley (Parkersburg, Marietta, Belpre, etc.) and Hocking (Logan) and Meigs County areas.
